The team has a modern base for carrying out experimental work with liquid metals. Sodium stand includes a system of liquid sodium storage, stand for filling experimental facilities with liquid sodium (including argon and vacuum systems). There is a gallium circuit for the experimental measurement of flux rate – pressure characteristics of MHD devices (pumps for transfer liquid metals).
There is a system PIV-Polis, experimental stand Thorlabs, the system of data collecting National Instruments, rotating hydrodynamic stand, the data collecting system Agilent, high speed video recorder Videosprint, motorized computer controlled shifter Isel among Physical hydrodynamic lab equipment.
The manufacturing capabilities and machinery equipment of ICMM UrB RAS allows to carry out all necessary works, connected with experiments preparation and constructing experimental set up.
